Yusukuni Jinja

This Sunday we visited the Yasukuni Shrine. It serves to commemorate the Japanese soldiers fallen since 1868.

Next to the shrine the Yushukan museum is about Japanese military history. Unfortunately photography is prohibited in the museum and I did not dare to take photos of the Samurai swords and armours on display. In the big hall I secretly took a picture of the Ohka Kamikaze plane and the Zero (Reisen) fighter plane.
